Investigation of Solid State Devices and Design of Electronics and Electro-Optical Measuring Equipment.

Abstract

The investigations carried consisted of an attempt to find unique applications for the SCAD-Small Current Amplifying Device-, a new semiconductor device similar to the J-FET; a search for low-noise devices and the design of low noise preamplifiers suitable for new solid state sensors; a study of electrolumenescence in Ge; and a study of the anomalous behavior of Schottky junctions.
