The Synthesis of Decoder Units,
Abstract
A general method for the structural synthesis of universal decoders using two-input Schaffer, Pierce, AND, and OR elements is examined. The structures of the decoders using different elements are compared. The possibility of generalizing the method of synthesis for the case of multi-input elements is pointed out.
