Numerical Methods of Forecasting the Meteorological Elements. Transactions (Collection of Articles),

Abstract

Results of research in forecasting the baric field, wind, trajectory of air particles, and movements of typhoons using the solution of hydrodynamic equations are given. Attention is paid to questions of finite-difference approximation of equations and stability of the solution. The problem of filtration of meteorological noises in the numerical forecast is considered. (Author)
