Abstract
A quasi-exponential model of the vertical distribution of the electron concentration in the D region is utilized to determine some fundamental parameters of this domain, and to obtain the energetic spectra of hard solar x-radiation in both the quiet periods and during the solar flares of 30 Oct. 1969.
