A Reprint of Use of FOUS (Detailed PE Guidance) (Undated)

Abstract

This Note is issued to quickly supply field forecasters, especially in the ZI, with guidance for using the National Weather Service FOUS Bulletins that started being transmitted over COMET circuits on 15 February 1971. It includes papers from NWS sources which were intended to provide NWS forecasters with guidance on use of FOUS Bulletins. The AWS is pleased to acknowledge the cooperation of NWS Technical Procedures Branch in making this material available for reprinting.
