An Experimental 20 FT Vertically Polarized L-Band Linear Array for the Use with Pulse Doppler Radar.

Abstract

The note describes the electrical design and evaluation of a vertically polarised 20 ft L-Band Antenna in Part 1 and the mechanical design in Part 2. The Antenna is required to 'look back' two beam widths thereby allowing three groups of paints of the same target to take place during each revolution of the antenna. (Author)
