Electronics Implementation of the Solar Neutron Experiment.

Abstract

The report is a supplement to the Themis renewal proposal December 14, 1970 to project Themis-1969: Research proposal, 'variations in the earth's atmosphere produced by solar radiations.' It describes the electronics used in experiment 1, the solar neutron experiment. The report includes an overall system block diagram, adders, discriminators, decision logic, pulse height analyzers, time of flight circuitry, data encoder and house keeping circuitry such as the azimuth and temperature monitor circuits. Complete circuit diagrams with component values and photographs of some circuit boards and chassis are included. (Author)
