The Current Influence on the Depth of Automatic Station Recorders (O Vozdeistvii Techeniya na Glubinu Progruzheniya Samopistsev Avtonomnykh Stantsii),

Abstract

The effect of current on the depth of current self-recorders at automatic observation stations is discussed in connection with the speed of current, the depth of the sea, the length and weight of the cable, the instruments suspended on it, and other factors. The relationships of the magnitudes are defined by mathematical equations so as to present a comprehensive analysis of the problem. (Author)
