A Short Radar Description of a Cruise the Black Sea-Far East,
Abstract
The images projected on radar screen by capes, shores, building, buoys, etc. encountered en route from Odessa to the Gulf of Tonkin are discussed and analysed. Photographs of the images are compared with the respective charts so as to point out the characteristics of radar images and the range of radar visibility in various areas and under various weather conditions.
