Magnetic and Electric Phenomena in the Sea (Magnitnye i Elektricheskie Yavleniya v More),

Abstract

Magnetic and electric phenomena in the sea are discussed in relationship to the earth's magnetic field, pointing out the major characteristics of the phenomena, especially their manifestation in the ocean water. In connection with this, the author analyzes the electrical conductivity of sea water, the telluric and induced currents in the sea and some of the results of electrical measurements conducted in the sea.
