Kinematic Analysis of a Six Degree of Freedom Vibration Table.

Abstract

A mathematic formulation of the Kinematic equations describing the motion of a six degree of freedom vibration table has been constructed for use in research on human subjects at the Aeropace Medical Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The background to the approach to the analysis is discussed and the derivation of the Kinematics equation is presented. A hybrid computer program is included that can be used to generate the solutions for the required lengths. The computer output can then be recorded on magnetic tape and used for analog inputs to the device. (Author)
