Antiadhesion Composition,

Abstract

An antiadhesion composition containing polyvinyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, and diluents was distinguished by the fact that in order to increase the duration of its action, a high-molecular gelatinous compound was introduced, e.g., alginate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, agar, or gelatin in a quantity of 5-10 percent 58-35 percent glycerin, 10-20 percent sulfonated oil, and 7-5 percent filler, while polyvinyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, and diluents were added in quantities of 10-15, 5-8, and 5-7 percent respectively.
