Use of the Additive INKhP-46 to Improve the Operational Properties of Lubricating Oils for Reduction Gears With Novikov Gearing,
Abstract
The use of the additive INKhP-46, containing sulfur, chlorine, and phosphorus, provides improvement of the functional properties of lubricating oils used in reduction gears with Novikov gearing. Tests showed that during operation of reduction gears of deep pumping units with Novikov gearing at an overload of 1.6 times the use of oil industrial-45 with 3 percent INKhP-46 provides an increase in the time to beginning of pit formation and also facilitates smaller changes in the physicochemical properties of the oil during prolonged operation in the reduction gears.
