Symposium on Naval Hydrodynamics (7th). Unsteady Propeller Forces, Fundamental Hydrodynamics, Unconventional Propulsion Held at Rome, Italy on 25-30 August 1968,

Abstract

Three major themes were selected for the technical program of the Seventh Symposium: (a) unsteady propeller forces, a concentrated presentation of the latest theoretical and experimental research results dealing with time-dependent forces generated by marine propellers, (b) fundamental hydrodynamics, a sampling of advanced analytical results emphasizing numerical techniques for solving a variety of basic hydrodynamic problems, and (c) unconventional propulsion, a wide-ranging discussion of a number of different propulsion schemes and devices other than conventional marine propellers.
