A Device for Continuous Registry of the Intensity of a Meteorological Radio Space Echo (Vstroistvo dlya Nepreryvnoi Registratsii Intensivnosti Meterorologicheskogo Radioekho),

Abstract

Recording reflected signals makes it possible to check amplitude changes; this can be used to investigate meteorological conditions. The strobed volume adapted from radar observations facilitate study of amplitude changes with time and in space for different degrees of spatial and temporal averaging. The authors go into detail in matters of construction, calibration and possible errors in their measurements. (Author)
