Relative Mapping Triangulation (RELMAP) Program. Volume II. Mathematical Analysis.

Abstract

The report contains the detailed mathematical analysis of Relative Mapping Triangulation (RELMAP) Program. The contents of the report are organized in two independent parts. Part I constitutes the underlying mathematics for the RELMAP triangulation system as it was conceived prior to the start of programming. Subsequently, a number of minor mathematical changes were decided on in order to improve efficiency of the data processing system. The details of these changes are included in Part II of this report.
