MATS Performance with the SECOR System.

Abstract

It was determined that a SECOR System using the MATS Transponder will exhibit performance which completely fulfills the SECOR system requirements. It has also become apparent that utilization of the MATS circuits and techniques in the SECOR Ground Station will result in a major simplification of the entire RF System, as well as a major advance in SECOR System ranging accuracy.
