Ruggedized Geodetic SECOR. Volume I. System Description.

Abstract

A Ruggedized Geodetic SECOR system consists of four DME stations (a master station and three slave stations). Each station consists of three shelters of identical exterior dimensions (two equipment shelters and a storage shelter), two air conditioners, a transporter, and three motor generators which satisfy all the power requirements of the station. A satellite-borne transponder is time-shared by all four DME stations.
