Struthonianism and the 'Moral Dilemma' of Safeguard,

Abstract

Criticisms of the Safeguard ballistic missile defense system from the computer-related profession are examined. It is contended that such arguments are without foundation, and in fact raise the large 'moral dilemma' over the question of an American willingness to mount sufficient technical skills to solve significant, but not insurmountable, hurdles on an issue of national importance.
