The Minimum Path Assignment System (MINPAS) and Its Application to the 1969 Seattle Automated Shelter Allocation Project.

Abstract

The report presents the Minimum Path Assignment System (MINPAS) which has been developed at the Urban Data Center as an automated method for the allocation of people to public fallout shelter facilities in large metropolitan areas. In particular, it describes the implementation of MINPAS in the production of the 1969 Seattle Automated Fallout Shelter Allocation Project. (Author)
