Topics on Practical Application of Optimal Control to Single and Multiple Control-Point Flight Control Problems.
Abstract
A cadre of techniques is assembled for applying frequency domain optimal control techniques for practical closed-loop controller synthesis. Main emphasis is placed upon obtaining an appropriate formulation of the problem, and upon realizing the optimal control with a reasonably low order closed-loop controller (without resorting to approximation of the control law).
