Evaluation of Illumination and Air-Conditioning Systems Designed for the Dental Treatment Room.

Abstract

In an experimental dental operatory, five separate installations for integrated illumination and air-conditioning systems were sequentially erected. These installations were evaluated to determine an optimized system for illuminating a standard USAF dental operatory. This system was to provide a comfortable, air-conditioned, draft-free environment and afford conditions of optimum vision. The related environmental control problems were also analyzed. (Author)
