Hereditary Differential Systems with Constant Delays. II. A Class of Affine Systems and the Adjoint Problem,

Abstract

The theorems of existence, uniqueness and continuity derived in another paper by the authors are specialized for affine hereditary differential systems which belong to the family of Lipschitz systems. The family R of representable systems which form a subclass of the affine systems is introduced. The adjoint problem for members of the representable class R is defined and its solution given. Finally the fundamental transform solutions for systems which belong to the class R are characterized. (Author)
