Literature Survey on Plasma Instabilities. Volume I - Reports.
Abstract
The report is the first volume of a literature survey on the largely extended field of plasma instabilities. Among other references the 1968 - 1970 issues of almost 40 relevant journals were looked through systematically. The first volume contains 121 more or less comprehensive single reports surveying all plasma instabilities which came to the authors' knowledge. Both, experimental observations as well as theoretical models of the instabilities are presented. A subject index (list of instabilities) enables the reader to find the survey report on a special instability. The abstracts of the references cited in this first volume will be presented in a second volume. (Author)
