Outlet Structure for Eau Galle Reservoir, Eau Galle River, Wisconsin. Hydraulic Model Investigation.
Abstract
Model investigation of the outlet works for the Eau Galle Reservoir was concerned primarily with performance of the vertical-shaft intake structure under heads up to 80 ft. The study was conducted in a 1:20-scale model of the outlet works which reproduced a portion of the approach area, the intake structure, the outlet conduit, and the hydraulic-jump type stilling basin.
