The Use of Hemopoietic Marrow Transplants in Inducing Osteogenesis in the Surgical Repair of Osseous Defects.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to investigate the histologic environmental factors involved in the induction of osteogenesis following the transplantation of grafts containing hemopoietic marrow, and to study the interface between marrow grafts and the recipient host tissues in the developing of optimal osseous repair systems. A summary of research on these topics is presented.
