Abstract
Data at sea were gathered by Lamont personnel on the Research Vessels VEMA, JOSEPH GOLDBERGER, GRACE, SIR HORACE LAMB, and ships of cooperating institution. Shipboard measurements taken were: Seismic refraction and reflection, precision depth records, sediment cores, sound transmission, underwater camera, magnetics, gravity, carbon-14, hydrographic, and SOFAR.
