Wide Dynamic Range Barrier Grid Storage Tube, TCM-14,

Abstract

The purpose of the work reported was the improvement of the Barrier Grid Storage Tube signal-to-disturbance ratio. Studies were conducted on the reasons of the 'shading' and in a sealed tube the behavior of a 'monobloc' target with an electrolytically grown mesh. Results about the manufacture of a 'monobloc' target made with a sheet of shaped aluminum are given.
