Vacuum-Brazing -- Gas-Quenching History, Development, and Overall Program.

Abstract

The vacuum-brazing and vacuum-heat-treat, gas-quenching process is a reliable process for fabricating hardware items where helium leak-tight joints are required. New filler metals were developed for vacuum-brazing aluminum alloys, and metallographic examination was accomplished on all metals. (Author)
