Building Data Management System.

Abstract

The development of the various engineering subsystems of the Integrated Civil Engineering System (ICES) as specific problem oriented computer facilities has resulted in the inability of these computer subsystems to communicate information between each other during a project design. One of the solutions proposed for the problem of computerized engineering data communication is the development of supersystems - cooperative efforts on the part of several subsystems to give project rather than just problem oriented computer capabilities, primarily by sharing common files of data for the projects, organized on computer secondary storage.
