Mercury Lamps.

Abstract

Selected references are from the Defense Documentation Center's collection on Mercury Lamps and related lighting equipment. References deal with illuminants equipped with powerful xenon lamps, development of infrared sources, ocular effects of thermal radiation, spectral flash lamps, operating characteristics of a xenon-mercury short-arc lamp immersed in water, and the underwater visibility of colors with artificial illumination are discussed.
