Eight-Inch Petroleum-Products Pump Unit - High-Capacity, High-Pressure Type.
Abstract
This report covers the design, development, engineer design test, and evaluation of an 8-inch petroleum-products pump unit-high-capacity, high-pressure type. This unit, due to its unique centrifugal-pump design, may be used on the 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-inch high-pressure and low-pressure military pipeline systems. A preliminary design was prepared by the Fuels Handling Equipment Division of the U. S. Army Mobility Equipment Research and Development Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. (Author)
