Environmental Data Base for Regional Studies in the Humid Tropics

Abstract

The report presents a summation of the Environmental Data Base Project which was undertaken by the US Army Tropic Test Center (USATTC) in 1964. The objective of this project was the gathering and storage of detailed, specific data on militarily significant factors of a humid tropic environment. Progress reports have been issued on a semiannual basis; they have covered the project activities and methods of data collection and presented selected technical findings and analyses of portions of the data.
