Analysis of Segregation with Respect to R-Genes Controlling the Immune Hypersensitive Reaction of Potatoes to Phytophthora infestans (Analiz Rasshchepleniya po R-Genam, Kontroliruyushchim Immunnuyu Sverkchuvstvitelnuyu Reaktsiyu Kartofelya k Phytophthora infestans),
Abstract
Five hybrid families were analysed that has been obtained from the crosses between the varieties Vulkan (R1R3), Veselovskiy (R2), Drossel' (R1), Orion (R1) and Cameras (R1). It is established, that all the parental forms carry the R genes in the simplex state. In the progeny from the cross Vulkan x Cameras the observed segregation was in agreement with the theoretically expected ratio 3R1R3:3R1:1R3:1r. In the progenies from the crosses Veselosvkiy x Cameras (R2 x R1) and Veselovskiy x Agra (R2 x r) type (Veselovskiy x Drossel' and Veselovskiy x x Orion) an excessive proportion of recessive forms was observed, while the proportion of hybrids with the R1R2 and R2 genotypes was below the theoretically expected one.
