General Formulation and Computer Program.

Abstract

General expressions for the angular momenta of the various parts of the TAG (Thrust Alleviated Gyroscope) are derived, including effects of mass unbalance and misalignment. The general equations of motions of the gyro are formulated, assuming the motion of the missile will be given. These are then simplified to an 'Ideal Gyro'. A general computer program for integrating the resulting system of differential equations is provided, along with results for the motion of the TAG under simulated missile motions. (Author)
