On the Torsion of a Circular Beam Having a Crack Along a Circular Arc or Along the Radius (O Kruchenii Kruglogo Brusa s Treshchinoi po Duge Okruzhnosti ili po Radiusu),
Abstract
An examination is made of the problem of the torsion of a uniform isotropic circular beam having a crack along a circular arc or along the radius. The problem is solved using conformal mapping techniques. The complex torsion functions are determined and the torsional rigidity is calculated from formulae indicated by Muskhelishvili. (Author)
