Variability in the Development of Living Forms and Its Significance in Biology,

Abstract

Nearly 800 9-day-old rabbit embryos were examined. All of them varied in shape, size and state of development. Reasons for these differences, such as different conditions of nutrition, are discussed. Reasons for embryo mortality were studied as a factor of the variability of embryos. (Author)
