Principles of Small Unit Weapons Firing

Abstract

The book presents brief information on the development of the principles of firing, on modern weapons of rifle small units, on explosives and their properties, and information on interior and exterior ballistics; an understanding of the essense of aiming is presented and the design of various sights is given; questions on the practical significance of the shape of the trajectory and the action of shells (bullets) on a target are presented; the basic questions from the theory of probability and the theory of errors, dispersion, hit probability, and target destruction are illuminated.
