Solid Multilayer Tritium Targets for a Neutron Generator,

Abstract

The results are given of an experimental study of a solid three-layered tritium target for use in a D-T neutron generator. As compared with a conventional target this target gives an approximately tenfold decrease in the D-D neutron yield, which greatly improves the monochromaticity of the neutron flux. (Author)
