Helicopters in the National Economy,

Abstract

This book summarizes the experiences of the use of helicopters in the national economy. Flying-technical and economic characteristics of helicopters are studied from the standpoint of their use in various branches of the national economy of the USSR. Problems of the operation of helicopters without heliports under various geographic and climatic conditions are discussed. The requirements placed on helicopters designed for various purposes and the prospects for the improvement of helicopters are discussed. This book is designed for flying and engineering-technical personnel, workers of enterprises and organizations, ministries and departments where helicopters are used.
