Progress in Polymer Chemistry 1968,

Abstract

The report represents a collection of articles pertaining to the achievements of polymer chemistry for the period 1965-1967. The role of structural factors in the formation of the properties of polymers and cationic polymerization are examined. Various types of polycondensation processes are discussed. The capacity of different elements to form polymers with inorganic molecular chains and a large group of new polymers with the silicon-nitrogen bond are examined. The successes in the synthesis of polymers with azole cycles and of organoboron and chelate polymers are generalized.
