Abstract

Ground motion as elastic deformation due to loading by ocean tides, low frequency ocean waves and atmospheric pressure variations has been examined both theoretically and observationally. The observations have been made using vertical accelerometers at frequencies from a cycle a day to 140 cycles per hour. (Author)
