NMR Linewidths in Metals as a Function of Temperature.

Abstract

A density matrix equation is derived which permits the temperature dependence of the nuclear magnetic linewidth in metals to be obtained. Contributing to the linewidth are dipolar and exchange interactions, spin lattice relaxation times, and vacancy diffusion. (Author)
