Combination of Satellite Harmonics and Gravimetry,

Abstract

A relation between the Kaula-Rapp solution and the solution in OSU Report No. 130 is established by deriving the latter solution from a different least-squares principle, whereby this solution is also considerably simplified for practical computation. The covariances, and the solution of Report No. 130 is represented in the form of a correction to the Kaula-Rapp solution. (Author)
