Drift Circulation in the Zone of the Subarctic Hydrological Front (O Dreifovoi Tsirkulyatsii v Zone Subpolyarnogo Gidrologicheskogo Fronta),

Abstract

Calculation of drift circulation in the North Atlantic Ocean, from 40 to 65 degrees N, is discussed and evaluated. The speed and direction of drift currents is determined, and the effect of drift circulation on the seasonal position of front in surface water is specified. (Author)
