Abstract
In the report, a brief account is given of a five-day visit made in the summer of 1970 to several laboratories and universities engaged in research in plasma physics and controlled thermonuclear fusion (CTF) in Paris and its environs: the Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion Department at Fontenay-aux-Roses, the Laboratory of the Physics of Ionized Media of the Ecole polytechnique and the Plasma Physics Laboratory of the Faculty of the Sciences at Orsay.
