Spore Ultrastructure.

Abstract

A brief summary is given of work which was intended to characterize the ultrastructure of bacterial spores with physical, chemical, and physiological methods. Where possible, the results were extended to considerations of practical problems of infectious disease, sterilization, and preservation, relatable to program objectives in microbiology of the Office of Naval Research.
