A Survey of the Literature on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Abstract

A survey of the literature on Pseudomonas aeruginosa is presented and a bibliography of 1307 papers is compiled. The literature was surveyed and a brief review of the salient features concerning Pseudomonas aeruginosa is discussed. The review includes a discussion on the taxonomy, methods of detection and identification, morphology, cytology, physiology, biochemistry, medical and public health aspects, inhibition and control, and the ecology of the organism. The bibliography is key worded into first and second order key words and descriptors. The bibliography provides a reference for research workers to rapidly establish the major works in the field.
