Acceleration Processes and the Tail of the Magnetosphere,

Abstract

The sheet pinch model is applied to and gives detailed properties of the neutral sheet in the tail of the magnetosphere. Acceleration processes associated with the neutral sheet are suggested and discussed. (Author)
