Angular Dependence of Reflectivities of Thin Film Pellicles for Ruby Laser Radiation.

Abstract

The formulas for the angular dependence of the reflectivities of thin film pellicles as presented by Hillencamp have been extended to pellicles in the lower ranges of available thickness for their possible use as beam splitters for laser radiation. The results are presented in plots for thin film pellicles ranging in thickness from 2 to .5 micorns for indices of refraction n = 1.49 and 1.65. (Author)
